Delete your account

1. Open CoCap, tap Me, then Settings.
2. Scroll to Account actions and tap Delete my account.
3. Read what you will lose, then confirm. Your account is scheduled for deletion straight away.

There is nothing to cancel first in this release: CoCap currently has no active subscription or in-app purchase.

Can't sign in? Email hello@cocap.in from the address on your account, or with your registered phone number, and ask us to delete it. We'll check it's you and act within 30 days.

Your profile (name, photo, city, email) and phone number; your practice history, answers and level; every recording you saved; your saved words; everything Kyra keeps about you; your Sessions bookings; your CapCoins and XP; any screenshots you sent us; and, in the Android app, your phone's notification token.

Messages you sent us through Help or Send feedback, and reports you made in Sessions, are kept so we can act on them — but they are detached from your account and no longer carry your name. If you want those deleted too, say so in your request.

Grace period: for 30 days after you ask, your account is deactivated but recoverable — open Settings and tap “Keep it”, or email us. After 30 days it is permanently erased.

What we may keep: only what the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires, and never used to contact you — for example the records of a payment made before CoCap became free.

You don't have to close your account to remove something. Each of these you can delete yourself, and it is gone for good:

• Recordings — Speak → Your recordings → Delete.
• Saved words — unsave them in Words.
• Kyra’s notes — one at a time or all at once, in Me → Kyra’s memory.

You can also take a copy first: Settings → Download my data.

For anything else, email hello@cocap.in and we'll remove it within 30 days. Your account stays open.
